Corporate Responsibility

The Reunion Group strives to have an impact on the communities in which we live and work by aligning itself with charitable endeavors.  We demonstrate our commitment through philanthropic initiatives.

In addition to our monetary donations, made directly and via related entities, our people support the goals and objectives of various organizations through volunteerism, leveraging their personal talents and professional skill sets to further improve our communities.

Giving Guidelines

Education is the primary focus of our giving.  In addition, we partner with organizations primarily to direct resources to our local communities.

With some exceptions, our giving is concentrated in philanthropic initiatives and partnerships with organizations offering programs designed to educate and help children and families.

Therefore:

  • We fund only organizations with an IRS exempt status under section 501(C)(3) that are fiscally sound with strong management practices and accountability.
  • We primarily support initiatives within the South Florida area where our employees are located.
  • We prefer programs that provide direct service to people and communities in need rather than event sponsorships such as golf, dinners, and galas.
  • We prefer to make grants for specific projects with measurable results, though we do provide general operating support and support capital campaigns.

Contribution Restrictions

Contributions generally will not be provided for:

  • An individual person or families
  • Political, labor and fraternal organizations
  • For-profit publications or organizations seeking promotional support
  • Religious organizations (i.e., churches or organizations directly tied to a place of worship) as determined in our sole discretion.

We recognize that there is a broad range of organizations engaged in worthy activities and we regret that we are unable to fund or support every request, application, proposal, or organization.  Since we receive funding requests that far exceed our annual giving budget, we must often decline to support worthy organizations and programs.  Such a response is not intended to reflect in any way a negative appraisal of the prospective organization or the value of its services.
